Located in southwest Uganda, Queen Elizabeth national park is home to Uganda’s wildlife. The park covers an area of up to 1,978 km². Just like Kibale, the park is home to four of the big five with the exclusion of the Rhino. This park has a wide range of wildlife and bird species as compared to any other in Uganda. The park presents an opportunity for a visitor to enjoy the pristine nature of the wild in the vast savannah plain. One can experience the authenticity of nature and view game from very close proximity.
