Ngorongoro crater is a breathtaking natural wonder that was brought about by a volcanic eruption. It is the world’s largest unflooded caldera. The crater’s 600m high enables it to be home to some of the most endangered species in the African safari.  This is the only place where you can easily spot the endangered black rhinos. It is also home to the Wildebeest, zebra, eland and gazelle carpet the short grassland, watched hungrily by lion, cheetah, wild dog and hyena. The waters of Lake Magadi are decorated by the scenic pink flamingoes giving the crater an amazing view that is hard to forget.
